Al-Rabbita FC Receives 250,000SSP

South Sudan Deputy Minister of Finance and economic planning Hon: Agok Makur
accompanied together with the Chairman of SSFA Francis Amin paid a courtesy visit to Al-
Rabbita FC training ground in Buluk over the weekend.
Makur donated a sum of Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand South Sudanese pounds
(250,000SSP) to Al-Rabbita FC as they continue to prepare ahead of the CAF Confederation
Cup Fixtures, which is yet to be released next month.
He promised government supports towards sports activities in the country and urged the Club to
represent the country in order rise the Country’s flag high.
“Be assured of government commitment to supporting sports activities in the Country and
represent South Sudan in good spirit in their upcoming international Matches” said Makur.
Winners of 2019/2020 South Sudan Cup Champion, Al-Ribbata FC last Month played 3 friendly
matches against the National Team losing two and winning one ahead in warm up fixtures.
No team will represent South Sudan in this year’s CAF Champion League while Al-Rabbita FC
will represent South Sudan in CAF Confederations Cup in this year’s Confederations Cups this
follows SSFA suspending of all football in earl February due to outbreak of COVID-19 in the
Last Year Amarat FC Juba and Atlabara FC participated in both CAF Champions league and
Confederation losing in the preliminary round of the competitions.
