Ngok from Juba to Delhi

yesterday  Morning, the Dance Troupe “Ngok Lual Yak Traditional Dance Group” had performed at the Indian Embassy in front of Ambassador S.D. Moorthy and other diplomats/officials of the Embassy.

The troupe has been selected by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports to participate in the Surajkund International Crafts Mela-2019, New Delhi.

The dancers are expected to take part in the festival from 01-17 February 2019.

The dancers and drummer enthralled the Indian officials by their electrifying music with vibrant and colorful dance movements. Indian Ambassador appreciated the tribal dancers and wished them good luck for their performance in New Delhi. For the first time a cultural troupe from South Sudan is visiting India to take part in an international festival.
